Business women inspire Cambridge students

Rosemary is often asked to give talks on business to a range of audiences. On 23 November she was pleased to be asked to give a talk to students at her own former home, Newnham College, Cambridge.

Rosemary spoke alongside Sarah Wood, Co-founder and Co-CEO of video ad tech company Unruly. Unruly has delivered social video campaigns for 90% of Ad Age 100 brands and was acquired by News Corp in September. Sarah has been voted one of the top 15 Women to Watch in Tech and she is an Associate Lecturer at Cambridge University.

The event was aimed at students, but various high-profile business and university figureheads from Newnham, the Computer Lab and the Cambridge Angels investment group also attended. Rosemary and Sarah both gave a short account of how they started their companies, which was followed by a Q&A session with the students and a friendly discussion over dinner with other invited guests.

It was an excellent event, enjoyed by all. There is no better way to inspire students as they plan their futures than to present them with real success stories.
